Some kind of transluscent jellyfish. With the consistancy of a gummy bear. I didn't touch it... No effin' way!

My first thought when I saw the pic, without reading your post was, "hey, thats a breast implant on that beach!"
So, one vote for breast implant. Check.
That's pretty grisley unless it was just washed up medical waste... actually that's still kind of icky.
There were several, I think.
Did you poke it with a stick? - If you did, and it started creeping up the stick toward your arm, then you can almost guarantee it is some form of life form from a recently dropped meteorite. I know these things are true, because I have watched Steve McQueen in 'The Blob', so it must be!
